This is our new microwave. We bought it just before Max was born as ours blew up one morning. Since that time, the microwave has decided to show us all the skills he is learning - other than cooking food when we ask it to. It likes to turn the vent on and not let us turn it off without unplugging the microwave. It also turns its light on when it thinks we need it even if we aren't using the microwave or in the kitchen - both during the day and during the night. It also likes to take its turntable for a spin - sometimes for hours - without asking us. Needless to say, the microwave was just too much of an overachiever for us and is getting replaced today.
Update: Apparently I was a little too eager on this post. The guy came to replace the microwave and was unable to remove it from the wall. After a few phone calls, the original guy that installed it has been contacted and is scheduled to come on Thursday to remove and replace.
