Local

There has been a lot of drama at Pasquales lately which has resulted in our staying in BMP so Kevin can work EVERYDAY. It has also been in the high 90s so staying in the air conditioning has been ok for us as well. We've gone to birthday parties, baptism celebrations, swimming at the hill, and the BMP air strip (which is actually paved when you look at it closely) to what the British Air Force perform training exercises.

Max in his new button down. This is the first time he has worn a button down. He embraced it rather well. When we got to the baptism celebration, all of Max's little buddies were very similarly dressed. He did a good job of keeping it clean - he sat a the edge of the pool and splashed himself so much that we was soaked when we went home.

Watching the Hercules take off. They had just done some parachute jumps and loaded their cars into the Herc to take them back to BATSUB in Belize City. It was crazy how big this plane is and how close we were able to get to the landing and take off. The funny thing about this was that there were a handful of people who showed up to watch because they heard an airplane and wanted to see what was going on. When an airplane or helicopter can be heard in BMP, it means either a diplomat or BATSUB training mission is going on.

I did a bit of yard work earlier in the week and cut down these flowers.
