When we got to the bay, it was time for a family picnic. Max saw his great-grandma again.....
After a full day of activity and very little napping, Grandma got Max to calm down and take a very quick little nap....
Max received some Baby Legs from Ellen. They are just little leg warmers and they certainly came in handy......

It got very cold that night. We even woke Max up and brought him in bed with us as his fingers were like ice. If only that boy would sleep with his arms UNDER the blanket. Needless to say, none of us slept very well when he was in bed with us. Dad and Max woke up early and crawled under the down blanket that Grandma and Grandpa used. No, Max did not go back to bed.....
Saturday brought new visitors. Grandma and Grandpa's friends came out for a cookout. Max had a little buddy to play with - Callum - but really neither of them were very interested in each other.....
It was a bit breezy in the evening so as we added additional articles of clothing to Max's attire, he started to look a little silly.....
Sunday morning Max read the paper with Grandma and Grandpa before we got in the car to drive home....
