Back to the Belize Zoo

For only $5.50 USD in admission - it it s great bargain in BZ to be a local - we headed back to the zoo for the afternoon. Yes, it was 90+ degrees but most of it is tree covered. This time we didn't take the stroller and let Max walk.

The tapir was a big hit. We sat with these guys for a LONG time. But then the tapir sprayed pee to marks its territory and I was ready to move on.
Don't know how we missed these guys the first time around.

The jaguar was absolutely beautiful... and silent... while pacing.

Yeah, I see you brightly colored parrots.

Sound asleep. This picture solidifies that Max needs a haircut. It looks like he is wearing a bad toupe.
