Rendezvous Caye

A couple months back a group of us won a silent auction for a day trip to the cayes. On the 27th, we finally took the trip - 18 adults and 12 kids. It was a long boat ride as we trolled for fish the entire way. We caught a 3 ft barracuda but for some reason when asked if we wanted it or if we should throw it back, those near the guys said throw it back. No fresh sashimi for us. Boo.

There are fishermen in these little canoes out in the middle of nowhere. This guy paddled up and sold us conch and lobster.
