We are in the home stretch here - 9 days until the estimated due date. For the second day in a row, we've had dr. appts. Nothing big going on - just want to make sure the little guy is growing enough. Today his weight was put at 7.5 pounds which is completely normal. Also had a non-stress test to measure his heartrate when he moves around. Again, all is well. The general conclusion from all the doctors that we visit is that he will be about 1 week late. The light at the end of the tunnel is here!
Kevin and I are pretty much just waiting out these last few days. The baby's room is 95% completed - just waiting on a package from mom with a few more handmade goodies (diaper caddy, diaper storage, crib skirt). The car seat box has been opened but the car seat is still in the baby's room. We'll get that installed at some point.
