The Lesson of Missed Naps

Elsie has only been with us for a week and she is already making a great impression on Max. He is now on a schedule with a morning nap around 9 and an afternoon nap around 12:30. Here's what happens on Saturdays when Kevin and I are left to take care of our own baby.




We let Uncle Bill get the best of us and talk us into playing a game (or two) of Catan which caused Max not to take a morning nap. The little boy got so tired in the late afternoon - no, he would not take his afternoon nap either - that he fell asleep when Kevin was trying to burp him. Max rallied, though, and woke up after a brief car ride and met Hope at Stephen's birthday party later that evening. We learned our lesson and Max took 2 naps on Sunday!
