For the first time EVER, the Moscow Circus came to Belize. There was a bit of a snafu with the BMP dates as the land the circus was going to set up on was sold and the Circus didn't have rights to the location from the new owners. Fast forward 1 week and the Circus made it back to town! Now, it could be that our expectations of BZ events have sunk so far that we now think everything is good, but the Circus was fantastic! We felt bad, though, as there weren't very many people in attendence at the show we attended. But it seems that attendence bounced back for the later show.
The photo isn't good but this lady was remarkable. Definitely 'circus' material.
This poor giraffe. He travels the world and only gets a 2 lap spin around the ring. He looked healthy and happy, though.

This lady was propelling herself all over the place off of this balance beam... that was held on the 2 men's shoulders. Crazy.
The Bear that is Almost Human. He got top billing on all the circus posters. He did a fanstatic job.
