Mountain Pine Ridge

Kevin was back in the States for a week for Meagan's funeral so Max and I had to fend for ourselves. After a week of running Pasquale's, I was ready to get away and luckily for us, Margarita and Emile were taking the kids to the Mountain Pine Ridge and asked if we wanted to come along.

First stop was lunch at Blanceneaux Lodge which is Francis Ford Coppola's jungle resort. We had never been there before and it is BEAUTIFUL.

Next stop was Sandy Pinols (or something like that) for swimming with the kids.


The final stop of the day before rushing home to go to Simone's birthday dinner was in the back roads of the Pine Ridge to find pine cones for Klik's Christmas craft.



On a side note so that I don't ever forget this... We spend so much time with Margarita, Emile, and the kids that Max has started calling Emile 'Dad' and me 'Miss Beth'. Guess he really is mimicking everything that he hears!
