Sometime in 2007 is the first time that Tom talked to us about starting a business in Belize. At the time, Kevin and I just thought Tom was nuts. He'd never really talked to us about Belize before. We did the pre-reqs, though, and bought some travel books and decided we'd tag along with him on an upcoming trip if it happened to work out.
Fast forward to Christmas 2008, Tom and I to sit around and chat and the idea of starting a business in Belize came up again. This time we put some meat into it and decided that I'd go with Tom on his next trip down and, at a minimum, I'd get a trip to Belize out of it.
