This weekend Max went on the longest car rides yet - all the way to Grandma and Grandpa's house in Wisconsin. Let's just say he tired himself out on the way there with all the crying. However, when he had his eyes open, he really liked the headlights of the cars around him.
Saturday was a very busy day with a whole bunch of new faces ....

Saturday also brought the first time that Max was away from mom for more than 3 hours. Kevin and I had a wedding to go to so we had a 7 hour break from Max. It was very nice to get away but very weird at the same time. Got to spend a great evening with Julie and Mason at Kim's wedding.
Sunday brought another long car ride. Max had much more to look at this time and seemed to cry a bit less.
