Bacab

We found another thing to add to the visitor must see list - Bacab Eco Park! This place was absolutely awesome. It has both eco friendly stuff (trails, horseback riding, farm, butterfly house) and the best swimming pool I have ever been to. We didn't waste our time with the eco portion of the park but rather swam for 3 straight hours! Another plus is that the restaurant is cheap and delicious - and delivers poolside. The drinks aren't so bad either (who would have thought a tequila/lime/coconut milk juice could have been so wonderful!). The whole day including entrance, lunch for 3, 2 beers, and 1 frozen drink was $37.50 USD.

Max was just barely tall enough to stand in the kiddie pool without having drinking the water.

Kevin being all artsy and framing the photo.

Our palapa for the day. The deeper pool - which somehow was warmer than the shallower pool.

The entrance to the pool. Very cool.

The impressive thing about this photo is that a. we are all still awake and b. the color of Kevin's back.

A cute pic of Max after his fun day at Bacab.

I want to be at that pool. With that drink. With nothing else to worry about.
