A Few Random Photos

On July 22nd, Max gave himself one heck of a bump on his head. At playgroup, he decided to jump off the top of the slide instead of sliding down it. Unfortunately, he landed on his head... on the concrete. The bump was very large - in fact, Margarita was sick to her stomache it looked so bad. No concussion or any of that. Finally the swelling went down and the black eye is still subsiding. This injury topped off the cut on the chin from the week before when he got hit by the metal swing as well as the large cut on his forehead where he cut himself with his fingernail.

On the 24th, we took an evening trip to Cayo with Margarita and Emile. They were staying at a fancy resort that had a saltwater pool. Max and I had a great time swimming with the kids (Emile Alexander was there too but he didn't make the photo.). This is a very nice resort but it is pricey. If you want to indulge, we'll be happy to show you were to go.

Max has had an obsession with helmets lately. We had to find a special helmet for him and for Elmo. Unfortunately, Elmo's eyes didn't help his helmet stay on so pretty soon Elmo was cast aside and Monkey was riding with Max.
