Our friends Alan and Dolly are building a big house down the Coastal Road in beautiful jungle land. During the last year of construction, they have learned that their property has an immense number of fruit trees - mostly mangoes. To celebrate their progress as well as it being time for mango harvest, they decided to have everyone out to celebrate. It was very inclement weather and I was very nervous about driving out there alone with Max since Coastal Road is not paved but I could tell there was someone driving not too far in front of me and I knew at least one car would be coming behind me soon. After what felt like an eternity, we arrived - and proceeded to get eaten alive by the mosquitos despite spraying ourselves 3 times in 1.5 hours.

Plucking some mangoes.

Alan took us in the landrover, which was 100% necessary out there, to the river at the back of the property.

Looking down at the house from the hilltop. The house looks tiny from this angle...but it isn't. As you can see, their view will be amazing when construction is finished.
