The Spiegel men (Kevin and Max) have started a new routine of watching a few episodes of Walker, Texas Ranger every morning. How odd, you are thinking? But according to Kevin there is nothing else on during those hours so why not watch Chuck Norris. Now usually the boys are quite into the action and sometimes even fall asleep.
Today, however, is a different story. Mom was holding Max while watching Walker as Dad was doing something in the kitchen. In this particular episode Walker was blinded by a bomb explosion which caused him to be unable to see. Walker spent most of the episode with White Eagle learning how to 'see' without actually being able to use his eyes. Let's just say Walker got a little be cocky and decided to make a candlelight dinner for his lady. The problem is that the candles were upstairs (oh no!). Walker attempted the stairs but mis-stepped and fell down the whole flight. Max, who had been quiet for the whole episode, let out a loud cry when Walker fell down the stairs. It took a few minutes to calm Max but eventually, he realized Walker was ok. Max was also very relieved when Walker got his sight back at the end of the episode - Dad was relieved as well.
Yes, part of me can hardly wait for Kevin to go back to work so I don't have to watch Walker, Texas Ranger any more.
